GC run sequence Blesh-UDF20250825S26.BGC had the following issues:

1. vials all run in sequence, but 2 vials submitted in rack out of order - vial 55 and 56 were reversed in position when received from field
2. Visual computer signal lost on run startup, but data seemed to be collecting fine. Leter found data stopped being collected at about sample/std vial 19 or so. Rebooted computer to restart run the next morning.
3. Following morning discovered the Licor box detector was shot, throwing wild erroneous peaks and valleys. Box was replaced with AnnaGC box. Restarted sequence near where it left off, with a new “B” sequence.
4. No peaks were seen on “B” sequence. Stopped and restarted. Autosampler proceeded to bend the injection needle like an accordion, before even attempting to draw sample. So, shut everything down to investigate.
5. Discovered nitrogen port on syringe had been sheared off. Replaced needle and syringe and rebooted everything - GC, Autosampler, and Computer.
6. Deleted “B” run due to null data and restarted “B” run all over again. Everything seems to be working now…

GC run LTAR202507030710S16S17BGC (and version “B”) notes: Analysis setup and computer froze overnight, prior to completing first set of standards - i.e. system ran through all methane analyses, but only recorded results through standard vial 13 or so. Therefore, the system was rebooted and rerun at that point. At rerun, initial few standards looked to be contaminated - may use initial run for 1st standard set and “B” run for sample and final standard results. Sampling notes - series 17 vials submitted with note that vials 141 and 117 were swapped. These were run in swapped order on the GC (i.e. 116, 141, 118.. then 140, 117, 142… etc.) Additionally, sample vial 93 from series 17 was dropped and broke. The vial was replaced in the run, but just contained lab air.
