GC run sequence Blesh-UDF20250825S26.BGC had the following issues:

1. vials all run in sequence, but 2 vials submitted in rack out of order - vial 55 and 56 were reversed in position when received from field
2. Visual computer signal lost on run startup, but data seemed to be collecting fine. Leter found data stopped being collected at about sample/std vial 19 or so. Rebooted computer to restart run the next morning.
3. Following morning discovered the Licor box detector was shot, throwing wild erroneous peaks and valleys. Box was replaced with AnnaGC box. Restarted sequence near where it left off, with a new “B” sequence.
4. No peaks were seen on “B” sequence. Stopped and restarted. Autosampler proceeded to bend the injection needle like an accordion, before even attempting to draw sample. So, shut everything down to investigate.
5. Discovered nitrogen port on syringe had been sheared off. Replaced needle and syringe and rebooted everything - GC, Autosampler, and Computer.
6. Deleted “B” run due to null data and restarted “B” run all over again. Everything seems to be working now…
